Korean Skincare: Elizavecca Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Mask

Elizavecca's Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Clay Mask had been top of the list of products I wanted to review for a while. I have heard mixed reviews and heard it tingles and leaves a weird sensation on the skin. Being the skincare aficionado I am, I have been dying to try this! This product can be used as a cleanser or as a mask.

The mask comes in a jar and has the same fun/cute packaging as most Korean beauty products do, however there is not a word of English on the packaging in sight! Keep reading for the information you need.

Elizavecca claim that this Clay Mask does the following:

* Removes impurities and dead skin cells.
* Deep cleans the pores.
* Smoothes skin texture.

The product itself is quite thick with no scent.

To use: Spread an even amount of product over the face. It does come with a spatula (which I didn't use).

I did find you have to work quickly applying the mask, as it does start to dry and foam up if you do not work fast enough. After applying the product to my whole face, it started to tingle very, very quickly.  Once the product starts to foam up, it does feel unpleasant, with a slight burning on the skin, it takes around 5 minutes for a thick fully foamed face.

Once your face is covered in foam, then massage the foam into the skin. The product will now turn into more of a conventional clay mask.

After using, my skin felt extremely clean, and tight. This is an intense mask and left my skin feeling on the dry side. So a uber-hydrating face moisturiser is essential for after care. For those of you with sensitive skin, this is one mask I would be wary of. I have sensitive/dry skin and this stuff is hardcore! If you want to try this then get your ultra rich moisturiser at the ready.

Milky Piggy Carbonated Bubble Mask, does the trick. Skin really does feel clear and super clean, just don't forget to apply a hydrating cream after.
