Tarte Rainforest Of The Sea Aquacealer Concealer, concealer, makeup

Tarte's Rainforest Of The Sea Aquacealer Concealer* is a hydrating, multi purpose concealer which can be used on blemishes and dark circles under the eyes. When this landed on my doormat I was keen to try, especially as I really rated the foundation from the same line.

I normally skip concealer most days as I hate the effect many concealers leave, with cakeyness and creasing under the eyes, sometimes I would rather have slightly dark circles. I am always on the hunt for a new concealer and am yet to find quite the perfect match.

I was lucky enough to be sent this Tarte concealer to try and have the shade light-medium which suits my fair skin perfectly (for reference I use MAC NW20). The features of Aquaconcealer are as follows:

* Lightweight 12 hour concealer.
* Medium coverage.
* Contains 20% water to not only conceal but hydrate the skin.
* For blemishes, redness and the under eyes. (multi-purpose)

This concealer sounds ideal, I mean it's multipurpose so when you're on the go there's no need for colour correctors and a separate concealer and the claim it's hydrating is perfect for me! We all know I have dry skin!

I love the chunky wand it's the perfect size for a quick swipe under each eye,

Formula wise, it's fantastic. Lightweight and creamy and it blends into the skin like a dream.  This is one concealer which doesn't crease, has the lasting power needed to conceal any problem areas. It's non cakey and doesn't settle too into fine lines.

I was a big fan of Urban Decay's Naked Concealer and also raved about Nars' Radiant Creamy Concealer.  Using Tarte's Rainforest of the Sea concealer, I need neither of these, this suits my dry skin so much better.

If you have problems with concealer lasting all day or on that night out and have dehydrated skin, this is one product that is certainly worth splurging on. I love it so much, I am even toying with the idea of using concealer on a more regular basis.

It turns out that maybe I was just looking for the right one....

What's your favourite concealer? Have you tried this yet? Do you rate Nars or Urban Decay's cult classics?
