As soon as I booked our holiday this year, I decided it was time for a wardrobe refresh.  I really wanted to up my game on the style front. Reading all these fashion blogs has certainly had an adverse effect on my bank balance.

A capsule wardrobe of stripes, neutrals, expensively cut linen trousers accompanied with tan or pink blush accessories.  Simple, classic and easy to put outfits together.  Something like the outfit above, is what I am aiming for on a typical day out sightseeing. Oh, and a pair or two of trusty Raybans.

Long gone are the days I unpack at the hotel in a hot country and find it hard to put something together.  Or I hope!

This year it's all about the Breton stripes, tan sandals and cool, relaxed smart trousers.  A crossbody bag to carry all the sightseeing essentials in.

When I fancy a change at night I am packing 2 clutch bags, one from Whistles and one from Topshop.

I will be on holiday when you read this so watch out for some kind of Look Book I will be putting together while I'm out there.

Tony doesn't know he is going to be taking a few photos yet! I'll just have to bribe him with a pint of the finest local beer and a backrub!

What's your style this summer?
