Blogger Favourite: Is Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre Worth The Hype?

With tonnes of beauty products out there labelled as 'cult classics' and Holy Grail, I have decided to start a new series. Delving into the depths of my makeup and skincare collection, it appears I have a tonne of 'these' products (without even knowing it). Some unused and new, others used constantly and some bought on the promise of such great things, to leave me thinking something along the lines of 'oh is that it?'

With this in mind, I thought I would bring to you, my honest, no holding back reviews on these apparent 'cult classics'.  Sure, everyone likes different things and different products suit different people and skin types. But here on BBB I'm giving it to you straight.

Blogger Favourite: Is Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre Worth The Hype?

Today I'm kicking things off with the much hyped French pharmacy staple Embryolisse Lait Creme Concentre.

Since ELCC was released in 1950, it has become the essential to makeup artists' kits. Suitable for all skin types, this cream is thebomb.com. Seriously this is one products worth the HG tag.  I've been using this for years now on and off, ever since the blogger/youtube obsession began and it's heavy duty stuff. I'd forgotten just how great this stuff really is.

For someone that suffers from dry skin, this cream is a Godsend. I had no idea what a difference this would make to my skin texture, but using regularly ELCC hydrates, soothes and nourishes skin, leaving the most smooth canvas for makeup application. The lightweight formula soaks into the skin a treat and feels like you are wearing next to nothing.  It acts as the most perfect primer before applying makeup and once foundation is blended in, it leaves a lovely satin finish to the skin.

If you're in the market for a new moisturiser, I would highly recommend this for people who suffer from dry, sensitive skin and for normal skin types. Lait Creme Concentre is well worth the hype and for that reason gets a massive thumbs up.
