L'Oreal True Match.

I'll be completely honest when I first tried L'Oreal's True Match (before the formula was re-formulated), I didn't get the hype and it didn't suit my skin at all.  My, how things change, and I'm not just saying that because it was posted to me, this is a seriously great foundation.

After using this for a while now, I completely get the hype. Let's be honest I don't know what's changed with this foundation, all I know, is it's absolutely beautiful. My True Match is Vanilla and it really does suit my skin tone perfectly. The undertone is on the yellowy side, which is ideal as this tones down any redness on my cheeks, as I am blessed with a rosy glow all year round! (Ref: MAC Shade NW20)

I used Bobbi Brown's Full Coverage Foundation Brush to blend this in and it works an absolute treat, leaving a somewhat matte but still luminous finish to the skin. The texture is silky and the product itself extremely creamy, it really does blend like a dream. It doesn't cling to dry patches and doesn't give you that awful foundation mask feeling.

There are tonnes of shades which are true to skin tones, instead of generic shades that don't suit everyone. There are warm, cool and neutral undertones. If you can't quite find your True Match, then I highly recommending picking up a slightly lighter and darker version and mixing a dollop of each to create the right shade.

This foundation lasted pretty well on the skin, lasting up to 6 hours, after then you would need to touch up. It disappeared from the usual t-zone areas quite evenly.

True Match is fantastic for every day use and now it certainly does live up to the hype. This is one to certainly add to your foundation collection.
