Max Factor Velvet Volume Mascara, mascara, lashes

When Max Factor's NEW Velvet Volume False Lash Effect Mascara dropped through my post box I promptly removed my beloved Rollerlash and swept a couple of quick coats through my lashes.

Launched at the end of 2015, the new 'Lavish Volume brush' combined with a new formula was meant to give the effect of full, dramatic lashes, but not overdone. Lashes were meant to be soft to the touch.

I have found that some volumising mascaras can leave lashes looking stiff and the formula tends to flake as the day goes on. After reading all the blurb sent with the mascara, I was kind of hoping for a benefit Rollerlash dupe, as the wand is meant to catch every lash, even if they are short, much like the idea of Rollerlash and hooking all the lashes.

Unfortunately, I cannot give this mascara the fair review it deserves, however I owe it to you guys to let you know how I got on. I wasn't even that bothered about the effect this had on the look of my lashes as the product stung my eyes terribly. Hours after applying my eyes would not stop itching and even after removing this my eyes felt sore, itchy and were incredibly puffy.

I am sorry Max Factor I could not review this properly or give it another test, there is just something in the formula that my eyes did not agree with. For all you sensitive eyes girls out there, this is one product I would avoid.
