Minimal Makeup Menu

For the days when you just don't seem to have time or cannot be bothered, these 8 products are the perfect choice to leave you looking fresh, pretty and quite frankly a better version of yourself.

Rimmel do excellent bases and the one I have been reaching for lately is their Lasting Finish 25 Hour foundation. It is literally Estee Lauder's Double Wear dupe. Great coverage, lasts all day, blends beautifully and perfect for dry skin, as the formula is so creamy.

I have skimped on concealer today, let's just say you have no spots and you've had the perfect 8 hours uninterrupted sleep. Fully rested and you have woken up looking like a Godess (tongue-in-cheek people)! We've skipped concealer, and headed straight for powder. It's Rimmel again and I have been using and really rather enjoying Clear Complexion.  Similar to Bourjois' Healthy Balance powder. Lightweight, non cakey, less than a Costa but it contains 'Pureskin', to help minimise break-outs. I have no idea what this, however if it helps to control the dreaded spots, then it's a winner.

For a touch of colour. Frat Boy from the balm will stop you from looking pasty. This featured in my must haves of 2015 and I just love it. A universal shade, that suits all, pink and pretty. For highlight I have been slapping on Becca X Jaclyn Hill's Champagne Pop. Golden and beautiful, as Jaclyn herself would say this leaves cheekbones 'on fleek'.

My new favourite setting spray has to be L'Oreal's Infallible Fixing Mist. Just a quick misting of this, leaves skin looking radiant and dewy and it really helps to set makeup in place. Not wearing makeup? Then this mist is lovely just for a quick pick-me-up.

Roller Lash, another 2015 fave.  Opens up the eyes, doesn't flake and holds a curl. How many times do I have to repeat myself seriously? Looking for a great mascara? Just pick this up, trust me, it's great stuff.

For the eyebrows I have really been getting into Sleek's Brow Perfector. The colour pay off is fantastic, it sets hairs in place ALL day and it's cheap. If you don't like crunchy brows, I would avoid this, as they can feel a little crusty. For the results it gives, personally I can put up with this.

With just the lips left, I have been using up By Terry's Baume De Rose. It is fairly hydrating and gives a pretty sheen to the lips, however it is overpriced and I personally think there are much better affordable lip products out there. Not to be a negative Nancy, I wouldn't pick this up again purely because of the price.
