Blog Goals and Hopes For 2016

I'd like to say I have a plan, unfortunately I don't. Not to blow my own trumpet, but I am one of the most organised people you will ever meet. I hate being unorganised, hate not knowing what I am doing and hate clutter. It surprises me I don't really have a blog plan for this year. I think about blogging constantly, what I can do to improve my blog, content and ideas.

Then it came to me. After reading Through The Mirror's post this morning, it really hit home. I need to be more me. I try already to get this across in my blog posts, however it's hard if you're not on You Tube to show your personality through words.

Sometimes a post about mascara or a foundation review, could come across as a little stilted and quite formal, well here's the crack, I am one of the most bubbly people you will ever meet. Yes, bubbly and organised. Also a little on the ditzy side, but actually quite smart! And modest.

I also tend to worry about what people will think and worry about the most stupid things ever (head to my goal-type post to read more). I want people to enjoy reading my blog.  Quite honestly, I work bloody hard at it. Sometimes I love my blog, sometimes I think ahhhhhhhhhhh for f's sake. WTF!!!!

I'm posh, well I like to think I am! Maybe, I've just had a good education. I need to stop with the profanity! My partner takes great delight in winding me up and quite frankly the air becomes blue.

Back to blog business anyway. I can go off at a complete tangent!!! Quite regularly. Instead of setting up a plan, I'm going to go with the flow. There are a few things to work on here they are:

A Numbers Game
We all know we shouldn't be hung up on numbers, however it's lovely to see your blog following grow. If I have some kind of goal it feels great when you eventually hit it. Here's where I want to be by the end of the year.

Bloglovin: 2500      Twitter: 5000     Instagram: 2000

Design
My grid like design is here to stay thanks to Pipdig. I've decided to stick with this design until I reach the above figs and then I may change it up or have a custom design - who knows I may be even brave enough to go over to the darkside - ie. Wordpress.

More Reviews
BBB started primarily as a beauty blog, this new year will see many more reviews. Back to blogging roots!! And I will be naming and shaming disappointing products too. Want the truth and which products to avoid, I'm the woman to see/blog to read.

Schedule Changes
I am still trying to figure out the best times and days to post. I'm flat out most days with my new job, so as soon as things get settled in the New Year, I will be able to update you on this. I will definitely still post 2-3 times per week.

Working with more Brands
Self explanatory, I want to work with more companies this year and build solid, close relationships. Think big! Kiko, Anthropologie, and Charlotte Tilbury I'm coming for you.

Commenting more
Inspired by Skinned Cartree's post, I have decided to try her idea. As well as gaining more followers, obs you are interacting with all you beautiful bloggers. So follow 10 blogs a day and comment on 5-10 blogs. Great idea, implemented (very soon).

What Would You Like to See?
Drop any ideas or comments below. This would be much appreciated. I will also be running a survey very soon so would be really thankful if you could all submit this.

As I say, I am hoping to show more of ME this year, less formality and tonnes of new content for you lovely people to read.

All that's left for me to say is Happy New Year (again) and thanks for all your support over the last couple of years and for reading, commenting and generally being very lovely.
