Project Purge

Inspired by the lovely Brenda from Brenda's Busy Bee, it's time to kick start 'Project Purge'. After reading one of her latest posts it was the push that needed me to use stuff up!

OMG, just looking at my stash, it's quite frankly ridiculous. 10 foundations, 15 mascaras, blushes - tonnes of them.  Lipsticks (which I hardly ever wear), lipglosses, eyeshadow palettes, single eye-shadows (I have so many I have invested in a Z-Palette, more on this another time). Eyeliners, powders, bronzers, makeup setting sprays, makeup brush cleaners.

It dawned on me a few weeks ago I have alot of stuff. I'm not even a hoarder. I'm always recycling and sending unwanted items to the local charity shop. It's got to a point, where I no longer know what I have, so it's time to use stuff up and downsize. Time to get serious and here's the plan.

Action Plan
This is a 6 month plan (after this time I will review the situation).
Not to stop buying completely (as a blogger I'm always trying new things and reporting back).
Bare in mind I have recently bought a tonne of new products to try, so these will be reviewed and featured.
To use up 15 things before I buy just one new thing (this can be from Space NK or Barry M - you get the drift).
Once I have used 15 things up I will write an empties post with mini reviews.
Write more blog posts on products I already have and to write comparrison posts.
Still use things up which aren't so great, so I can give you an honest review.

NB: Essentials are not included (shampoo, conditioner, makeup wipes, deodorant etc)

Skin-Care
I will use up the micellar waters and moisturisers before I buy a replacement. So I have one product on the go at a time, not 4 or 5!

I will still accept PR samples if they fit with my blog, so I can bring you the latest reviews.

More space.
More to write about.
A bigger bank balance.

If you wish to do this with me, tweet me and good luck! I will post regular updates, with storage solutions, a downsized makeup collection, empties and tonnes of reviews.
