PRODUCTS I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT

If you've read my recent project purge post, you will know I'm serious when I say it's time to use goodies up, de-clutter and write a tonne of new material. I decided to choose 8 random products from my collection which I had completely forgotten about and put them to use.  So, let's start with the base.

MUA's Pro Base Prime and Conceal palette had been in my concealer draw for a long time now and remained untouched. With an intriguing array of colours, it surprises me I haven't used this before. It claims to even out skin tone and illuminate. Ideal to set makeup, to leave a flawless finish. And it's only £4. As always I will let you know if it's as good as it sounds.

When I first picked up Kevyn Aucoin's Sculpting Powder, I used it daily. For weeks I had chiselled cheek bones and used it so much a dent appeared in the middle of the pan. For some reason I haven't used so much lately and instead have opted for flushed cheeks. With party season on the way, it's time to bring those cheek bones back.

Bobbi Brown's corrector in Bisque. This does what it says on the tin. Counteracts dark circles and leaves you looking like you've had the recommended 8 hours a night.

The Body Shop's Vitamin E Overnight Serum Oil, first appeared on BBB back in March 2014, you can find the full review here. I used it for several weeks and loved it.  With half a bottle left I am determined to send this bottle to the recycling soon.

PRODUCTS I HAD FORGOTTEN ABOUT

Rimmel's Clear Complexion and Bourjois Mat Illusion Bronzing Powder are both new to my collection. For weeks I have been using Seventeen's Miracle Matte Pressed Powder, which is pretty good, however I have just hit pan, so Rimmel's powder is next on my list.  When Bourjois released their Mat Illusion bronzer, I must have been one of the first to stuff this in my Muji storage. However I had forgotten all about it. I am going to use this along-side KA's Sculpting powder and see how it goes.

As party-time is nearly here, don't you agree it's about time to bring out the compulsory red lip? Another cracker from Bourjois is their Rouge Edition Velvet in Hot Pepper. Blood stained red pouty lips that last all night and to set the eyes off, it has be Lorac's Pro Palette. It took me so long to get this, that I really need to use it more. If you live in the UK and want to pick up this much raved about palette then head here to find out how.

What products are you loving at the moment? Any, which you are trying to use up?
