The Perfect Dupe for Neal's Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm from Temple Spa

I love nothing more than removing all traces of dirt, makeup and grime at the end of the day. To be honest I actually prefer it to applying makeup. I love the feeling of a squeaky clean, well nourished face. Having dry skin most of the time, any product which is rich and melts into the skin, really suits my skin type. Lately instead of using cleansing oils, I have been using balms. With my skincare stash growing, it is time to use older products up before starting on new.

It occurred to me the other evening, wallowing in a soapy bath with Temple Spa's In The Beginning Deep Cleansing Melt (£28.00) slapped all over my face, that this product is very, very similar to Neal's Yard Wild Rose Beauty Balm (£38.00).

To Apply: As with most balm cleansers, you apply a small amount to dry skin, massage into the skin and remove with a warm face cloth. You seem to need less of Temple Spa.

I have already posted a review on Wild Rose, you can read the full review here

In The Beginning is very similar, however I actually think it is better. Yes, both products are beautifully rich, hydrating and both balms remove everything. However Temple Spa's offering has exfoliating beads (Neal's Yard doesn't) which leave skin polished and dewy. Paraben free, packed with lavender, Vitamin E and olive oil this is the perfect evening treat to help you wind down at the end of the day and to leave skin looking and feeling as though you have had a facial.

As well as being £10 cheaper you also get another 10grams of product with Temple Spa. If you were thinking of trying the Wild Rose Beauty Balm, I would take a punt and try this version instead.
