Bourjois Nude Sensation Foundation.

You probably know me well enough by now to know that I'm always on the hunt for the perfect foundation, so it's not a great surprise when something comes on the market I have to grab it.

When I saw Bourjois' new Nude Sensation available on Feel Unique, I just had to give it a go.

Being summer and fairly warm it's time to switch it up and use a lighter base. Something which gives less coverage but still a nude look.  Something to let freckles show through and just to enhance the skin.

I love the packaging and the pot, very handy and ideal to travel with, perfect to pack in your suitcase.

The foundation smells of apricot in a subtle way and the actual product reminds me very much of Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse. Unfortunately I wasn't a big fan of Maybelline's version, however I decided to give Bourjois' a go as I get on really well with all of their other foundations.

The actual product is quite creamy with a fairly thick consistency. You do not need too much as it can look cakey, and fairly obvious you are wearing foundation. Using much less product gives a fairly natural finish, with an even skin tone.

I like Nude Sensation, it blends beautifully and seamlessly, however it didn't last look enough.  After 2-3 hours the product had completely disappeared from the t-zone and nose area and was just left on the cheeks.

I didn't use a primer, next time around I will try one. My current favourite is Chanel Blanc. It is beautiful, sits well on the skin and smells amazing,  I'm hoping using this will make the product last longer.

This foundation would be great for young skin, dry skin or someone with fairly good skin. Avoid if you have oily skin as this would just slip off.

All in all a pretty good foundation, just hoping it will last longer with a primer.  If anyone else has tried this I would love to know what you think.
