3 juice recipes to make you feel great

I seem to be addicted to whizzing up healthy juices and smoothies at the moment. There seems to be a constant flow of recipes to my inbox and a desire to avoid Coca Cola and drink tonnes of water.

At the moment these 3 recipes are not tried and tested, however they all promise wonderful things so no doubt they will soon be whizzed up in the Breville Active. After my recent smoothie post went down a treat I thought I'd let you in on these 3; The afternoon pick-up, the morning wake-up and the PMS helper.

The Afternoon Pick-Up

INGREDIENTS: 1/4 small watermelon, 1 apple, handful of blueberries, juice of a lemon, 1 tsp ground turmeric and 1 tsp ground cinnamon.

METHOD: Remove the flesh of the watermelon.  Juice with the apple, blueberries and lemon. Stir in the turmeric and cinnamon.

The Morning Wake Up

INGREDIENTS:  1 banana, 1 courgette, handful of raspberries, 2 tsp pumpkin seeds, 1 tsp maca powder, 1 cup of ice cubes, 125 ml water.
METHOD: Peel the banana. Whizz all ingredients together in a blender.

The PMS Helper

INGREDIENTS: 1/2 cucumber, 1/2 pineapple, handful of spinach, 1/2 fennel bulb, juice of a lime.
METHOD:  Peel the pineapple and pass through the juicer. Add all other ingredients.
