First Impressions: Fairy Drops Scandal Queen Waterproof Mascara

Finally, I got my hands on the elusive Fairydrops' Scandal Queen mascara from Cult Beauty.  Always sold out and in high demand, it's incredibly hard to get hold of.  Not normally one for waterproof mascara, I decided to give it a go anyway, after Vivianna Does Makeup always raves on about it. So here's the lowdown.

I found the formula extremely wet. Overly so. The bobbly wand didn't grip onto the lashes at all, I was left with a wet, clumpy mess with a huge majority of product stuck to my eyelids.

I like ommph to my lashes.  I like them curled, separated and lengthened. Not too much to ask right? This did nothing for me at all. Using one coat, the effect was quite natural with no curl. Two coats, resulted in a a thick gloopy mess. Gonna sit this on the side lines a while and try again in a few weeks, when it's dried out. At the moment though, this gets a thumbs down.

Removing this from the lashes gets me in a tiz, it just wouldn't come off, even with waterproof makeup remover. Even Charlotte Tilbury's magic remover couldn't tackle this problem.

I must be one of the only beauty bloggers not to like this. I just don't get the hype.
