The Essential MAC Eyeshadows, Cranberry, Soba, All That Glitters, Woodwinked

Anyone would think that I love brown-toned eye-shadows, looking at these from my MAC collection.

Well, actually I do. I am a neutral-eyed girl all the way. On first inspection these eye-shadows are very similar, however they are different (still convincing myself). Of course I can try to justify having 3 similar shadows, but really I do need them all. Here's why.

Let's start with Cranberry. The black sheep of them all. Completely different to it's bronzed counterparts. A rich warm, beautiful wine/cranberry coloured shade. Perfect to smudge along the lower lash line and perfect to wear all over the lid for more impact. Looks great with blue eyes (my colour for your ref) and lashings of jet black mascara. One of my all-time faves.

Woodwinked was the first ever MAC eyeshadow I got my hands on and the one to blame for all my spends since. A buttery, rich bronze colour with a certain amount of shimmer - but not sparkly. This is my go-to night-time summer shadow. Perfect with bronzed up skin and glossy lips. Beautiful.

Soon after, I picked up All That Glitters. Elle Fowler was one of the very first bloggers/youtubers, to inspire me to start. Her blog was called All That Glitters, after her love for this shadow. With such a high accolade I needed to add to my collection. Again a warm-toned shade. It is sooooo pretty with a slightly pink tinge.

Soba is the latest to come along. A cooler brown. The perfect crease colour to add some definition. Looks great worn alone, just with some mascara.

Now, I am on the hunt for some new MAC shades, I need to complete the quad above, so if you have any recommendations........
