Garnier Pure Active, Wasabi Face Wash, For Men

I actually picked up this face-wash a while ago now. The bright green and black certainly caught my attention when I was in Boots. And I was intrigued that it 'had Wasabi' written on it. After all Wasabi is a Japanese horseradish/cabbage.  Originally known for its antibacterial properties, it is a perfect ingredient to cleanse and purify the skin.

I could not wait to try this, it was only when I got home that I noticed in small writing at the bottom 'For Men'. Maybe the masculine packaging was a clue, hey? You do not seem to find many female products packaged in the colours of a pond!

I have used this a couple of times to try it out, however as it is not meant for us ladies, I passed on to my partner. Here's what he had to say on the matter.

Scent ?
Very fresh, citrus, manly.

Does it Work?
The face wash lathers up easily, doesn't dry the skin out and left skin feeling silky smooth. It did help to keep oil at bay over the t-zone. Rinses off easily, leaving no residue.

A decent, refreshing face wash, that does the job.

I haven't really much to say on this product, but apparently it is a pretty good face wash for any guy prone to oiliness. So if you are looking for something for yourself (if somehow you stumbled across this review and ended up on this pink/girly blog) or need something to help out your partner, husband or dad, then this does a pretty good job.
