Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder

It feels like I haven't written a product review in ages. What with wishlists, guests posts and tags, they seem to have gone out the window a little. Well Beanette's in the meantime I have been trying all sorts of products to tell you about.

I am a little excited as I have discovered some gems, there are some old favourites and some which are quite frankly not very good. Today I am kicking off with a review on Bourjois' Healthy Balance Powder.

Bourjois Healthy Balance Powder

As far as I am aware this powder has been on the shelves for sometime now. I really rate Bourjois as a brand, I think they have excellent products at affordable prices. I have long been in love with their Healthy Mix foundation/serum. Actually quite surprised I have not reviewed this (mental note to self - must review soon). Let me tell you guys, as much as I love the Healthy Mix foundation, I  also love this powder.

So finely milled, it provides a lovely finish to the skin. Easy to blend, ultra light and undetectable. I was experimenting with this and however much you layer, it would not cake. It noticeably reduced shine and set my makeup beautifully.

This little gem is perfect for on the go with a decent sized mirror.  It claims on the packaging to last 10 hours, it had disappeared after 3. However a quick touch up and I was good to go. I have fairly dry skin, just get a little oily on the nose.

I really raved about Soap and Glory's One Heck of a Blot. I like this just as much, if not more. It was perfect for the job in hand.

With the powder being great for the skin (Bourjois claim that the 'Sharon Fruit smooths and moisturises, while the Yuzu fruit absorbs excess shine), it would be something that I would reach for time and time again.

All in all this is a really great powder. I would definately purchase this again. I love it.
