Soap and Glory One Heck of A Blot

Soap and Glory's 'One Heck of a Blot' is a great powder, recommended to me by Gemma from Miss Makeup Magpie.  When I was last in Boots I had to pick this up to try.

In its usual quirky, almost vintage style packaging, this compact has a handy decent sized mirror, perfect for on the go.

It also comes with this puff, not my favourite, however if you are out and about and have no brush with you, this would be ideal for any touch-ups.  I really like the actual powder. Finely milled, none cakey,  providing just the right amount of coverage.

When I first used this it did seem to go cakey so was not that impressed. However I think this was because of the foundation underneath which it didn't seem to work that well with.  I switched it up a bit and tried something else and it didn't cake at all. So bare this in mind, if you love this powder but it cakes-up, try one of your different foundations.  It lasted around 3 hours on my skin. Not too bad, you would just need to reapply as necessary.

This powder is everything I want a powder to be, lightweight, invisible, keeps my t-zone shine-free, and I love the packaging. One shade suits all. I would definately repurchase this.

Thanks to Gemma for the recommendation.  I really love this and have been using over my Rimmel Stay Matte for a while now.

Has anyone given this a try? What do you think?
