Cosmopolitan Superblogger Masterclass 2014

After weeks of waiting, the day finally came to head down to London for the Cosmo Superblogger Masterclass event. Excited, was not the word.  I previously had been to an Editors Talk with Louise Court from Cosmo, and also the editors of Zest, Company and Red. I found it enjoyable, however I thought this would be more up my street. The fact that one of my favourite YouTubers/bloggers was going to be there (Fleur De Force), made it even better.

The chat was fairly informal and lasted around 1 1/2 hours.  Hosted by Kate Lucey from Cosmo, she fired questions at the panel. Everything talked about in that room was geared towards blogs.  Ways to improve your blog, market and monetise. The talk I had been to before seemed to be more relevant to those wanting to work within the magazine industry and journalism, however this was Blog Central! Perfect.

RocknRoll Bride (Kat; the lady with the pink hair) was very entertaining and inspiring.  She has a wedding blog and also runs a 'BlogAcademy' Home School course, you register and each course is around $20. I cannot wait to get stuck into some of the courses; they range from basic to more advanced, so there is something for everyone.  I met some really great bloggers, some who I tweet all the time, it was lovely to put a face to each blog, especially as they all seemed so nice. Check out Little Miss Katy, Gemma and Jasmin.

It was a great evening, starting with bubbly and leaving with a jam-packed goodie bag, lots of tips and new websites to check out, to help us progress our blogs. I even got a little start-struck when I met Fleur.  I have watched her YouTube channel for years and am an avid reader of her blog. I really admire how she has turned her little space on the internet into such a successful job. She seems as nice in person, as she does when you are watching her channel in your front room.  She must have thought I was a moron!

It was a great evening, enjoyed by everyone and a roaring success, I just wish it could have lasted a little longer.  I cannot wait until the next one!
