Rimmel Lasting Finish 25 Hour and Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation are two of my all-time favourite foundations depending on the look I am going for.  Both priced very inexpensively, £7.99 for Lasting Finish and £8.99 for Wake Me Up respectively.  You can often pick these up on special offer as well, or certainly from Boots, there is nearly always a 3 for 2 on. Both are packaged beautifully in glass bottles and look more expensive than their price tag reflects.

The Rimmel Foundation EditNow I have a big love for Estee Lauder Double Wear, however you could purchase 3 of each of these for the price of one.

If I am wanting a flawless base that lasts all day I have been using Lasting Finish.  This is a beautiful foundation, non cakey, hydrating, creamy and blends beautifully.  Rimmel claim it is transfer proof; it is, once on it doesn't budge.  It provides great coverage, feeling light on the skin, not as though it's clogging your pores up too much. If you are very active, have a lot going on and are rushing about, this is a perfect foundation.  As it is sweat, heat and humidity proof - big claims, however they are accurate.  I love this product and it is a great rival for Estee Lauder's version. I will continue to repurchase this, as I don't think for a long lasting foundation you can find better in the drugstore.

If you prefer a more natural finish (even though Lasting Finish isn't too heavy), and love a dewy, less matte look to the skin then Wake Me Up is perfect for you. It provides a radiant glow, has SPF15 and peptides - to literally perk up the skin and leave an illuminating effect.  This is a lovely, lovely foundation for the Summer months, especially when you have a tan and just want a lovely glow.
Both of these foundations are incredible for high street and both provide lovely results.  They blend beautifully and leave a great finish to the skin.  Both last well and both are cheap.  What more could you want?
