Now the warmer months are here (hopefully), generally I want a much lighter coverage, something to just even out skin tone and to look fresh faced. I've never been one for thick layers of foundation, so BB and CC creams suit me perfectly.

I could not wait to get my hands on Bourjois' 123 Perfect CC Cream. I tried this for the first time this morning and love it. It blends beautifully just providing enough coverage, however not masking skin at all and your natural skin shows through. It leaves a lovely finish on the skin. I have skin on the drier side and this product just worked.  It lasted at least 7 hours. At lunchtime, I rubbed a little more into my cheeks and over my nose just for a top-up.  I can get quite flushed and this really did seem to help to tone that down.

Yes, the packaging is not ideal, in fact it's bloody messy. In a screw capped tube, you literally open the tube and it goes everywhere, half of the product is in the cap! The actual cream which boasts 24 hour hydration, SPF 15 and 3 colour correcting pigments is lovely. I don't know exactly what Bourjois have injected into this miracle cream but the pigments claim to combat fatigue (apricot pigments), reduce redness (green pigments) and improve anti-dark spots (white pigments).  When I use this, I don't know what it is about this CC cream, but I actually feel well rested, my skin looks radiant and luminous.

My skin still looks like skin, smooth with improved tone and texture. I love this. I'm really impressed and it really is 'Perfect', especially for this time of year. It may even, if applied with a light hand be suitable to use as a primer under foundation if you are going for a more made-up look.

The only downsize is that there is a very limited shade range - just 4!  Try me for £9.99 from Boots
Who else is loving BB/CC creams at this time of year? xx
