So come May, I'm entering into an economy drive.  I have so many products that need using up and lots to write about that I'm not going to buy much more (unless essential) until I need to replenish stock.  However I was in Boots at the weekend and picked up a few things.  This was my last small shop, before a month of being stingy (even then I used my Boot's points). I've never been the world's best saver, and when near clothes or makeup, my spending shoes always override my savvy side, so May is the month to get sensible.

Let's get on to the goodies.  First off:

Dove Summer Glow Nourishing Lotion  - 250ml (Fair to Medium Skin)
I'm really looking forward to trying this.  I'm not a big tanner, and certainly never want to look orange.  However this promises a sun-kissed glow, and smells of apricots.  I will let you know how I get on with this, I'm excited to see the results. Currently reduced from £4.99 to £2.49 from Boots.

Nip + Fab Deep Cleansing Fix
Don't you love it, when you have been wanting to try something, but hold off as think it will become cheaper.  Well this beauty is currently £7.98 in Tesco and Boot's were selling for £3.98 so that was quickly placed in my basket.  I'm quite a fan of Nip + Fab products and this product intrigues me.  I thought it would be more of a balm, or thin cream, but it's really quite thick.  Its another makeup remover and claims to deeply cleanse pores.  This will soon be added to my skin-care routine and then I will post a review.

Boot's Extracts Mango Body Butter
Being much more of a body butter girl than lotion, I was drawn to this bright pot, after the line has been repackaged.  The actual product smells like Summer, like a Solero ice-cream.  I cannot wait to get started on this tub and at £8, if this works, it'll be great value for money.

L'Oreal Skin Perfection - 3 in 1 Purifying Micellar Solution
By far one of my favourite Micellar waters. A great cleanser and I was running low. Was reduced from £4.99 to £3.74. Clean skin here I come!

After all this skin care I wanted to buy a couple of makeup items.  Being a complete mascara junkie I opted for L'Oreal's 'Volume Million Lashes' Noir Excess, after this was recommended on Fleur De Force's YouTube channel. YSL's Babydoll mascara has long been a favourite, however the plastic brush reminds me of the YSL one, so I thought I would give this a try.  If the formula is half as good, it will be a great mascara to own, especially as this is less than half the price at £10.99.

Rimmel Scandaleyes Kohl (black)
Now I don't normally wear much eyeliner, just maybe a neutral colour in the waterline, so it's time to give it a go.  I love this line and they are highly recommended so I'm going to try and master some kind of eye-lining - I may even do a post on this, if I can get the hang of it. Normally my eyeliner application is not the best!

Feel free to share any hauls you have done recently.  Has anyone tried any of these products?  Let me know what you think.
