Benefit Hoola Vs W7 Honolulu
Benefit Hoola Vs W7 Honolulu
Benefit's Hoola has long been a favourite of mine, I love everything about this bronzer.  Its easy to blend, provides a nice natural bronzed look to the skin, (not the tangoed look either - I hate this!) and there is no sparkle or shimmer.

Generally just great for an every day natural look.  I think this will always be in my collection.  With the warmer days now with us, bronzers are definitely being dug out from the drawers.  Need a new one, then W7's Honolulu is a gem.

W7's Honolulu is a really great dupe for Hoola, so if you are on a budget or wish to spend less money this is your guy!  W7 sell a variety of boxed blushes, which are all very similar to their Benefit counterparts.  Honolulu is matte again much like Hoola, neither give off that terrible muddy look.  In the pan W7 does look much darker, however, you can see from the swatch below, that there isn't that much difference.  You may need to use a lighter hand with W7's offering, but there really is nothing in it.  Both would be great to contour or use as a bronzer.

The packaging for both is great, easy to slip in your bag for touch ups. Benefit provide a mirror and one of those funny little brushes.  Honolulu provide a funny brush as well (who actually uses these brushes - talking of which - on a side note, Glam Life Guru 'Tati' recommends to use these in the same way as a NARS' ITA brush for a great contour.  Just a tip if you wish to try, let me know if you do and if this works!)

Both these bronzers are great, there's really not much in it at all.  I thought W7 would be too dark, however it's not.  The texture of both is comparable as well and they both last all day.  All in all both of these bronzers are very similar.  One with a price tag of £23.50 and one at around £3.99-£4.99 depending on where you buy from.

Does anyone prefer Honolulu to Hoola? xx
