Tanya Burr must be one of the most influential bloggers out there. Not only do I visit her channel to watch her makeup tutorials, I also love watching her vlogs and baking videos.
So, when this Lemon Drizzle Cake recipe came along, I just had to get my bake on!
I'm not the world's best cook, however, it was easy, my cake tasted great and I'm now inspired to try more recipes. If you too want to make this great cake and impress your friends and family, keep reading to learn how....
170g Self Raising Flour
170g Caster Sugar
1 tsp Baking Powder
110g Icing Sugar
1 - Mix the eggs, flour, sugar, butter, baking powder and the zest of 2 lemons.
2 - Grease a tin and pour mixture in. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees (gas mark 4) for 30 - 45 minutes (Cooking time depends on the size of the tin and your oven).
3 - Slide a knife into the centre - if it comes out clean, it is ready to come out of the oven.
4 - Mix together the icing sugar and juice of the lemons to make the drizzle.
5 - Whilst your cake is still hot, poke it all over with a skewer then pour over the drizzle.
